Contact us

We practice sustainability at the farm. Crop rotation, use of drip irrigation and re-using the flower water each week are some of the ways we are being kind to the earth.
We are currently sold out of harvest boxes for this coming season.
We do have flower subscriptions available.
A Full Share is 18 weeks of gorgeous bouquets for $230 or a Half Share, every other week for a total of 9 weeks of flowers for $115.
Please email Lorrie at if you are interested.

Pick up would be on Tuesdays between 4:00 - 6:00 pm at the Farm, 8005 Portland Rd. N.E. Salem, Oregon. Our season lasts from May 29 to September 25, 2018.

Week 14

Morning sunshine welcomes us to Mom's potting shed.
A couple cantaloupes rest on the pallet table and harvest boxes wait to be filled by the door.

First corn of the season.

Grams counts out Triple
Crown blackberry boxes.
Mary has her boxes full of
Triple Crown blackberries.
Grams keeps picking.
There are quite a few berries.

Fall raspberries on some of the canes.
Not all raspberries produce this time of year.

Some branches bend down with their fruit.

A glance at Mom's herb garden. Nasturtiums in the foreground.

Summer squash in the foreground, peppers in the left hand rows. Drip irrigation on all the rows. Tall bushy/frilly row is the asparagus as it matures and replenishes the roots for next year.

"Cruiser" cantaloupe.

"Vedrantais" cantaloupe.

Multi-colored carrots.

Triple Crowns and raspberries in the boxes this week.

Strangely shaped carrots. Hmmm.

Yet another one. A six fingered carrot.
Red Brandywine on the left, Orange Wellington on the right.

Tomatoes as large as Lisa's tomato picking hands. Lovely "tomato dirt" washes off best by smushing a rotten tomato all over your hands.

Broccoli and cauliflower.

A cart full of various cherry tomatoes. Tomatoes include: yellow pear, Sun Sugar (orange), Mexico Midget (small red), Sweet Million (larger red).

We thinks these are Brooks Prunes.

Asian Pears. Crunchy and juicy.

Many types of tomatoes on the cart.

A box filling up: corn, peppers, carrots, onions, broccoli, cantaloupe, lemon cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, Triple Crown blackberries, raspberries.

Cart full of summer squash with a few sneaky cantaloupe.

Freshly picked basil.

Zucchini, Patty Pan, Asian pears and
Brooks prunes have been added.

Anna's lunch includes items from the garden: cherry tomatoes, green beans, broccoli, basil.

Our first Cosmos of the year.

Lovely colors of statice.

Pink and peach statice in with the two tone roses. Awwww.
Sunflowers galore.

Bright yellow.

Lemon yellow with a reddish center ring.
Ivory with a rosey ring.

A gladiola up close.

Multicolored zinnias.

Soft pink rose with pale pink statice.

Cosmos up close.

Dark, velvety red rose.

Delicate blue and lavender statice.

Deep yellow rose, pale yellow dahlia, purple statice.

Additional cactus zinnias.

Pink carnations with blue statice.

More carnations and statice.

A swirly looking rose. Love the color variations.

A favorite of ours, large, LARGE dahlias with many colors.
