Week 8 So many flowers!

We do love colorful produce.

Today's blog is almost all flowers. So beautiful.

Onions, blueberries, yellow crookneck, what a combination!

Babaganoush for the chips, pasta with cherry tomatoes, broccoli, cucumbers and onions along with pesto. Delicious.

One of today's beautiful bouquets. Frosted explosion grass around the base, orange and yellow snapdragons, bright orange gladiolas, purple ageratum make for a stunning bouquet.

This bright purple is larkspur.

Green and bronze atriplex (looks like flat seeds and is a filler), and pennycress along with a multitude of dahlias.

More glads with white phlox with a pink center, light pink snapdragons and atriplex.

Snapdragons, dahlias, cleome, biscuit amaranth.

Biscuit amaranth draping over the base, snapdragons, pale gladiolas and a two toned sunflower.

Purple cleome (spider plant), white lilies, white and yellow feverfew, tall gladiolas, dark red snapdragons.

At the top there is sea holly (pale blue thistle type), orange and yellow snapdragons, white and yellow feverfew, yellow double rudbeckia. Purple ageratum sets it off.

Tall pinkish larkspur, mauve dahlias, purple asters, atriplex with white lilies.

Tall yellow gladiolas, orange marigolds, purple ageratum, yellow snapdragons, and frothy Russian sage.

Dark purple gladiolas, white feverfew with a yellow eye, green amaranth hanging down, 3 blue scabiosa (pincushion flowers) and blue Russian sage.

Lisa has taken Shady Maple Farm flowers to the Gaston Farmers Market.

Anna and her son help out at the farmer's market. The sign above was made by Angie. She and Anna are cousins. Angie took a sample of their grandpa's handwriting and turned it into "Grandpa Font" and made it into a sign. How sweet.
